I Am the Stuff of Nightmares

Be wary of the eyes around you, these glowing red eyes that watch your every move. Those eyes belong to those who came before you and perhaps you will join them soon!

Madness is our truest nature! COME, MY BROTHERS! LET ME SEE YOUR NIGHTMARES REALIZED, FOR, AFTER THIS DAY, THEY WILL FOREVER BE CRAFTED IN MY IMAGE!"

Number One, aka Mathiel, is probably one of my favorite fan characters at this point, at least in terms of villians.

Breakdown:

- You have Number One there in the foreground.
- Behind him is a twisted cityscape filled with text from an article about insanity that I found, written by David L. Rosenham at [link]
- At the bottom of the screen are several eyes, watching Number One or perhaps the viewer.
- Behind that is an inverted shot of stars. I thought it would give an eerie effect to the sky.

I kinda just did the background as I went. It did not turn out how I intended, but I think this is a satisfying result, none-the-less.
